About this file
This is an addendum to the bid specifications for the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming for the procurement of one new 2026 or newer Broce 350 street sweeper or approved equal. The document provides detailed technical specifications that bidders must meet, requiring them to mark "Y" (yes) or "N" (no) against 57 line items detailing sweeper features and requirements. The specifications include mandatory equipment such as an enclosed cab with safety glass, Cummins 74 hp engine, Sauer-Danfoss hydrostatic transmission, 96-inch sweeping width poly tube broom, 150-gallon water sprinkling system, and comprehensive cab amenities including heat, air conditioning, backup camera, and integrated 2-way radio systems. Bidders are instructed to submit marked specification sheets with their bid submission and are encouraged to discuss anticipated exceptions or substitutions at a pre-bid meeting, with all questions and proposed exceptions required to be submitted by the stated deadline through the OpenGov eProcurement Question and Answer Tool.
The document establishes that any response marked "Y" that is qualified, altered, or conditioned in any way will be deemed non-responsive, and any exceptions not submitted prior to the questions deadline must be fully disclosed on the Bid Exceptions/Deviations/Substitutions Worksheet. Bidders must provide a list of manufacturer's standard equipment, warranty documentation, parts and service manuals, electrical schematics, and operator manuals with their bid. The City reserves the right to reject bids with exceptions that materially alter the intent of the specifications. Additionally, the City is accepting a trade-in of a 2003 Broce CR350 sweeper (Unit #5661, Serial #403333) currently in service with 1,626 hours, and the title of the new sweeper must be made out to the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming upon delivery.
