About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Transportation is soliciting proposals for an on-call contract to conduct pavement marking retro-reflectivity measurements on state highways, with proposals due March 23, 2023.

The scope requires acquisition and reporting of retro-reflectivity data collected using a 30-meter mobile retro-reflectometer. The primary objective is to eliminate personnel safety risks inherent in handheld data-collection devices while providing immediate feedback on pavement marking conditions. The contractor will support the Department's Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes for pavement markings placed on state highways. The on-call structure allows the Department to request measurement services as needed to assess marking condition and verify compliance with retroreflectivity standards, without requiring a fixed project schedule or predetermined reading quantities.
