About this opportunity

Sonoma County Public Infrastructure (SPI) is requesting qualifications for on-call environmental consulting services through an RFQ closing November 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. PST. SPI anticipates selecting up to ten consultants under Professional Services Agreements with a three-year initial term and the option of two 1-year extensions, with an aggregate not-to-exceed value of $15 million across all awardees.

Services will primarily support the Engineering Division on road and bridge projects but may extend to other SPI divisions including Integrated Waste, Transit, Airport, Land Development, Construction Management, and County Service Districts. Specific work will be assigned through task orders rather than predetermined projects. An executed agreement does not guarantee a minimum amount of work.

The procurement covers Sonoma County and San Francisco City jurisdictions. Qualifications should address experience in environmental consulting relevant to the service categories listed. No specific set-asides, preferences, or incumbent information are identified. Phillip Whipple is the buyer, with Melanie Trumbo as the primary point of contact for inquiries. The RFQ opened October 16, 2026 at 3:15 p.m. PST and permits multiple bids with edits to submitted bids allowed.
