About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity posted by Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of oil and air tools, referenced as bid 2095733. The solicitation requires mandatory registration through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and vendor response fields. Potential vendors must submit their responses by October 15, 2025, with strict adherence to specified freight and delivery terms, which mandate FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall pricing. DART emphasizes that time and delivery rates are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery timelines could result in order rejection or default termination. The procurement requires detailed invoicing with specific documentation requirements, including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and understand that payment terms are strictly Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's rigorous terms and conditions. The Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document highlights several important compliance requirements, including equal opportunity employment practices and prohibitions against contracting with foreign terrorist organizations. The solicitation is governed by Texas state law, with potential legal venues situated in Dallas County. Though precise budget ranges are not specified, the procurement suggests a competitive bidding process with comprehensive performance expectations. The contract terms indicate that DART will conduct thorough inspections of delivered goods and maintains the right to reject items that do not meet specified standards. Vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF, which provides an extensive framework for potential business engagement, including detailed warranties, acceptance criteria, and mechanisms for potential order modifications or dispute resolution.
