About this opportunity
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure secured office trailers, storage containers, and refrigerated containers for the FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The specific deliverables include six 12' x 60' office trailers, one 8' x 40' media office container, six 8' x 20' storage containers, and seven 8' x 20' refrigerated containers, with equipment delivery scheduled for May 27-29, 2026, and pickup occurring July 17-20, 2026. Vendors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of consecutive experience in related services and provide current financial statements or Dun & Bradstreet reports, along with proof of minimum insurance coverage including contractor's protective liability of $1,000,000 per accident and $3,000,000 aggregate, plus contractor's public liability of $1,000,000 per person and $3,000,000 per accident. Proposals must be submitted in sealed, opaque envelopes containing one original and five hardcopies plus one flash drive to the GWCCA Purchasing Department by March 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, with written questions due by February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM and answers posted by February 27, 2026. Evaluation will be weighted at 70% for technical merit (including event experience and capacity, quality and safety of units, logistics and installation support, and reliability and communications) and 30% for cost. The GWCCA retains the right to make a single award, split awards among multiple vendors, or reject all proposals, and vendors may be required to conduct a site survey between March and April 2026 at their own expense.
A communication restriction is in effect for this procurement, prohibiting interested firms from communicating with Authority staff or officials regarding the solicitation except through official question submission procedures directed to Issuing Officer Erle Coleman at ecoleman@gwcc.com or (404) 223-4244. Finalists and apparent awardees are restricted from making public statements or press releases about their selection or award, with violations subject to submittal rejection by the Authority. Georgia-based vendors may receive consideration for proximity and enhanced responsiveness. All proposals must include notarized proposal certification forms, E-Verify compliance affidavits, and non-discrimination agreements. No specific budget range or award value has been disclosed in the procurement documents; proposals will remain open for acceptance for 120 days following the submission deadline of March 6, 2026. The procurement does not identify any incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure requiring integration.
