About this opportunity

The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes for office desks via micro purchase through PHLContracts, with quotes due July 27, 2026. The contract value is less than $45,000 (adjusted annually by CPI-U, with increases certified by the Procurement Commissioner). The contract term is automatically limited to 365 days from the effective date.

Submission of an executed Consent and Authorization Agreement is mandatory prior to bid closing; vendors may attach it to their vendor profile during initial registration on PHLContracts or submit it with their first quote. All questions must be directed to the Q&A tab; direct contact with city personnel is prohibited.

The City has issued an LGBTQ Applicant Data Form that is entirely voluntary. Applicants may disclose whether their business is LGBTQ-owned or holds NGLCC/IBA certification through the Independence Business Alliance, or holds certifications from other third-party agencies including the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council, Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program, Disability:IN, or Women's Business Enterprise National Council. The form also requests information on NGLCC/IBA-certified subcontractors. Submission of this form is voluntary, and the City may use submitted data for other projects and may make it publicly available to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

All pricing must be quoted on a firm, fixed-price basis with no changes permitted after bid opening. Quotes are valid for 60 days from submission. Awards will be made to the lowest, responsible, responsive seller; the City reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, accept multiple sellers, or accept quotes on individual items. Products must be delivered FOB Destination Point. The seller must maintain workers' compensation insurance at statutory limits, general liability insurance of $500,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability insurance of $300,000 per occurrence if applicable. Compliance with Philadelphia's nondiscrimination ordinances, tax indebtedness certifications, ethics requirements, and business tax registration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Revenue is required.
