About this opportunity

Otero College in Morgan County, Colorado is soliciting a Documented Quote for comprehensive athletic training services under solicitation OC2027-02, with quotes due August 10, 2026 by 2:00 PM MT and an estimated award date of August 12, 2026.

Respondents must meet mandatory minimum qualifications: legal authorization to conduct business in Colorado, employment of personnel holding current Board of Certification (BOC) certification and current unrestricted Colorado Athletic Trainer licenses, and current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Professional liability insurance and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and professional standards are required.

The scope encompasses injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play management for student-athletes across the college's intercollegiate athletics program. Services must be provided in collaboration with the Athletic Director, coaching staff, and other healthcare providers, with coverage required for practices, competitions, and other athletic activities, including evening and weekend events. Otero College will provide all equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for service delivery, though the contractor may provide input regarding requirements.

Pricing must be submitted as a single annual fixed price covering all costs—labor, personnel, supervision, travel, equipment, supplies, insurance, and overhead expenses—with the price remaining firm throughout the initial contract term. The contract runs from August 12, 2026 through May 31, 2027. The College reserves the right to renew or extend the agreement for additional periods subject to satisfactory performance, mutual agreement, funding availability, and applicable state procurement requirements.

Award will be made to the responsible respondent whose acceptable quote is determined to be most advantageous to the College, with price as the primary consideration. Written inquiries are due August 5, 2026 by 2:00 PM MT. Quotes must include a signed cover letter, company qualifications and experience, personnel resumes and certifications, at least three professional references, proof of insurance, and documentation of compliance with minimum requirements.
