About this opportunity
Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas is requesting quotes for on-an-as-needed legal services under RFQ FY26-01, with proposals due June 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time and contract commencement on July 1, 2026.
The scope includes contract review between the Board and awardees, drafting of employment-related documents, lease agreements, letters of agreement, and other legal services required for compliance with Federal and State regulations governing subrecipients of grant awards. Bidders must demonstrate specialization in business and contract law.
The engagement letter term runs five years from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2031. Evaluation prioritizes responsiveness to the Board's legal services needs, with cost as the primary factor once responsiveness is established. Bidders must submit a fee schedule detailing proposed hourly rates for partners, associates, and legal clerks, along with a breakdown of incidental charges and applicable retainer fees.
All responsive bidders will receive notification and have the option to be placed on an Approved Vendor list for potential future projects at the rates submitted. Award notification is scheduled for July 1, 2026. Interested firms should submit quotes via email to bids@netxworks.org. Additional information is available from Kaylee Price, Staff Accountant, at 903.794.9490 extension 521.
