This is a single-lot procurement for eight Mirion Technologies detector components (NIGP 287-30) to replace aging equipment used for radiochemical drinking water compliance monitoring and environmental monitoring around Texas nuclear power plants and the Pantex facility.

The scope comprises one GC4018 coaxial detector (40% relative efficiency at 1332keV), cryostat dipstick final assembly, chamber coax standard, aluminum endcap, intelligent preamp, coax detector RC cold PA assembly, preamp cable set, and cold finger extension. No reworked products, previously refused items, seconds, or unauthorized substitutions are permitted. Bidders must submit firm, fixed prices on Exhibit C that include all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and related expenses, with freight quoted F.O.B. Destination prepaid and included. Default delivery is 14 days after order receipt.

The historical monetary value for similar goods or services was between $45,050 and $80,000 in fiscal year 2025. The initial contract term runs through August 31, 2026, with HHSC reserving the right to extend for up to one additional year. Price adjustments during the contract term are permitted only at HHSC's sole discretion, applying the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index formula.

Both HHSC and DSHS are entitled to use any resulting contract. Submission requires completed HHS Solicitation Affirmations (Exhibit A) and Pricing Sheet (Exhibit C); a HUB Subcontracting Plan is encouraged but not required. Questions were due June 15, 2026, with responses posted June 16, 2026.
