Respondents must be registered in MyFloridaMarketPlace and with the Florida Department of State's Sunbiz system prior to submission. The scope covers detection and removal of green iguanas, spiny-tailed iguanas, and Argentine black and white tegus using innovative technologies, with a minimum 40-hour-per-week commitment throughout the contract term. The FWC has established an estimated budget of $2 million, with monthly funding allocations of up to $250,000 from November 2026 through June 2027, then up to $166,666 per month thereafter, covering equipment, salaries, data reporting, agency coordination, and technology development. Proposals exceeding these monthly limits will be deemed non-responsive and rejected.

The contract runs one year from purchase order issuance with an option to renew for an additional one-year period at FWC discretion, contingent on satisfactory performance and available funding. Subcontracting is permitted; contractors must submit a List of Subcontractors and Subcontractor Minority Status Reports with each invoice.

Evaluation criteria (minimum 70 points required for consideration) are: methodology and approach (40 points), respondent experience and knowledge (20 points), presentation quality (10 points), work product examples (10 points), cybersecurity framework compliance (10 points), and cost (10 points). Contractors must comply with Florida's prohibition on foreign technology from designated countries of concern and provide comprehensive data security documentation, including SOC 2 Type II reports, ISO 27001 certification, and incident response plans.

The evaluation period runs October 12–26, 2026, with an anticipated award date of October 27, 2026.
