About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Financial Regulation is soliciting information from prospective vendors regarding the procurement of e-Discovery and litigation software services from Nextpoint, Inc., with vendor submissions due November 5, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. ET. This is a single-source procurement under Florida Statutes Section 120.57(3); the Department intends to post formal notice of its single-source determination on the Vendor Information Portal if no qualifying alternative vendor is identified.
The scope encompasses a cloud-based e-Discovery platform providing unlimited projects, databases, hosting, and data security; integrated litigation support features including trial preparation, deposition tools, timelines, fact management, and courtroom theater mode. The Office of Financial Regulation currently uses Nextpoint to host historical legal case discovery data and customized legal litigation templates, establishing operational continuity as the single-source justification.
The estimated total contract value is $95,825 over a 36-month term commencing January 26, 2027 and concluding January 25, 2030, structured as Year 1 at $30,800, Year 2 at $32,032, and Year 3 at $32,993.
The single-source rationale centers on Nextpoint's unique combination of end-to-end e-Discovery capabilities and integrated litigation features within a unified platform. The procurement has been approved by Rebecca D. Hale (Government Analyst II), Gigi Holder (Support Services Administrator), John Baladakis (Operations Review Specialist), and Ryann White (Senior Attorney). Prospective vendors believing they can provide equivalent services are required to submit relevant information by the November 5 deadline; the Department will evaluate responses before proceeding with the single-source award.
