About this opportunity
The Nevada Youth Training Center is soliciting quotes for quarterly dairy products, with quotes due June 18, 2026. This is a commodity procurement under Nevada State Purchasing Division standard terms and conditions.
Nevada-based businesses may claim a five percent preference if a majority of goods are produced in Nevada. For contracts exceeding $50,000, local businesses owned and operated by veterans with service-connected disabilities receive preference, provided such preference is not combined with other preferences. Awards are made to the lowest responsible bidder after evaluating location, article quality, total cost of ownership, specification conformity, intended use, and delivery dates.
The scope comprises dairy products supplied on a quarterly basis. Specific item quantities, delivery schedules, and product specifications are detailed in the associated solicitation documents. Only new products are acceptable; vendors must provide descriptive data or printed specifications. Alternative items meeting or exceeding stated specifications may be considered if they result in lower pricing at the State's discretion.
Pricing should be presented according to the format specified in the Quote Instructions. All quotes must include required supporting documentation and comply with submission formatting and certification procedures outlined in the instructions. Quote prices are FOB Destination with freight prepaid unless otherwise specified and do not include applicable federal or state taxes. Quotes remain irrevocable for the contract term and any extensions.
Contracts may be entered into for not more than two years with possible annual extensions if conditions are specified and determined to be in the State's best interest. Payment terms specify remittance within thirty to forty-five days upon receipt of invoice and agency approval. Automobile liability insurance with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 is required only if the vendor delivers the commodity directly to the State. Vendors must comply with OSHA standards and federal and state non-discrimination laws.
