About this opportunity
The State of Maine, Office of Information Technology, is requesting bids on RSA SecureID Authenticator cards with bids due November 7, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. local time. A tie-bid preference for in-state vendors or those offering Maine-produced commodities applies under the State's standard conditions.
The scope covers RSA Security, Inc. 6-digit, 60-second cards in two types: SD200 Standard Cards and SD600 Key Fobs, each with a three-year expiration date. All cards must include lifetime warranty and replacement service through RSA, Inc., with defective cards returnable directly to RSA for replacement. All cards, including replacements, must be of new manufacture. The selected vendor must maintain a direct agreement with RSA, Inc. enabling the State to receive replacement services, and must designate both a sales contact and direct technical support contact.
The State anticipates ordering approximately 1,500 cards over the contract period (750 of each type), though quantities are neither guaranteed nor limited to these amounts. A two-year contract will be awarded to the vendor offering the most cost-effective proposal. Purchase orders will be issued on an as-needed basis through the AdvantageMe Procurement System, with state agencies also permitted to pay using procurement cards.
Bidders must submit pricing on the attached Appendix A Procurement Cost Sheet with quantity price breaks at the 10, 250, and 1,000 unit levels for each card type. Vendors must specify their discount as a percentage rate off the retail price. Award will be determined by direct comparison of proposed prices and discounts. All bids must be received at the Division of Purchases, Room 119, 9 State House Station, State Office Building, Augusta, Maine. The contact is Nancy Davis at (207) 624-7390 or (207) 287-4563.
