Work is performed at six passenger elevators, one vertical reciprocating conveyor, and two wheelchair lifts distributed across five state and federally-aided public housing developments in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Bid submissions must include HUD forms 2530 and 5369-A, Section 3 documentation, contractor certifications, equal employment opportunity certifications, corporate identification, REAP certification, references, statements of qualifications, and DCAMM certifications. Bidders must submit a bid deposit of not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount as a certified or cashier's check payable to NBHA. The contract is subject to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 (prevailing wage requirements) and federal HUD regulations including 2 CFR Part 200. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days following bid opening without Authority consent. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids if determined to be in the public interest. Bid documents are available from the NBHA Procurement Office, 128 Union Street, 4th Floor, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02740, during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) or electronically by contacting kevin.rego@nbha-ma.org.
