About this opportunity
The Multi-Region Purchasing Cooperative (MRPC) is requesting proposals for sanitation systems and safety training services on behalf of Region 10 Education Service Center, with proposals due April 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. CST via Bonfire e-Bid platform. Evaluation is scheduled for April 7–21, 2026 with a tentative award date of April 24, 2026.
The scope encompasses monthly or routine onsite visits to participating member school districts for setup and maintenance of dish machine detergent dispensing machines and restocking of portion-controlled packages of commercial kitchen cleansers. Vendors must comply with federal regulations, USDA requirements, HACCP procedures, and state procurement standards. Deliveries are FOB destination with freight prepaid.
The estimated contract value is $972,795 for an initial one-year term from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with four single consecutive one-year renewal options available. Pricing must be firm and fixed for the contract term unless modified by special terms and conditions. Payment terms allow participating members 7–10 days net upon receipt of goods, though some districts may require 30-day net; vendors may offer early payment discounts.
The evaluation rubric allocates 35 points for cost analysis using a mathematical formula comparing bids to the lowest bid, 20 points for quality of goods and services based on vendor experience, 20 points for meeting purchaser needs and health code requirements, 15 points for responsible and responsive bidder documentation completeness, 5 points for other relevant factors including online ordering systems, available reports, lead times and delivery requirements, 4 points for vendor reputation based on reference feedback, and 1 point for HUB/minority/woman-owned/small/veteran-owned business certification. A pre-recorded bidders conference was made public on March 9, 2026. Questions are due April 1, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. CST and must be submitted through Bonfire's "Vendor Discussions" section. All proposals must be submitted electronically through Bonfire; faxed, emailed, or mailed bids will not be accepted.
