About this opportunity

The City of Corpus Christi's Asset Management Department is requesting price quotes for moving, delivery, and relocation services on a citywide basis under RFPQ 1397, with quotes due September 4, 2026, and questions due August 28, 2026.

The scope encompasses packing, unpacking, securing, moving, and relocating furniture and office supplies; loading and driving; equipment moving; table and chair setup and breakdown; assembly and disassembly of furniture; material pickup and delivery; estimating; cleanup; and disposal services. Services are provided on an as-needed basis across 113 locations including municipal buildings, fire stations, libraries, parks and recreation facilities, police departments, utilities infrastructure, and heritage sites throughout Corpus Christi.

Pricing shall be submitted on the City's provided quote form with no unit price adjustments permitted. Labor rates must be quoted separately for standard hours and after-hours service (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., including weekends). An allowance of $1,500.00 covers materials, supplies, rental equipment, and disposal fees. All pricing excludes taxes; the City provides a tax exemption certificate upon request. Shipping is F.O.B. destination and included in pricing unless specifically listed as a separate bid item.

The contract term is one year with two one-year renewal options at the City's sole discretion. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on quality, adaptability, contractor capacity, experience, efficiency, integrity, and financial responsibility.

Prior to award, the contractor must submit a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating commercial general liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, auto liability coverage of $500,000 combined single limit, and workers' compensation as statutorily required. W-9 forms, proof of insurance, warranty information, and applicable schedules are due before execution.

No job walk or bidders' conference is scheduled. The solicitation opened August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
