The scope covers residential, office, and heavy equipment items subject to levy. Pricing line items include two-person truck operations, hourly and overtime rates, dry run fees, heavy equipment moves using specialized trucks and forklifts, offloading by weight category, and monthly storage charged per square foot. The contract is a firm fixed-fee, three-year term from execution, with no automatic renewal absent Board of Supervisors approval. Prices remain firm for the full term, and any price decreases pass to the County automatically. The contract is a cooperative agreement available to other County departments and governmental entities, and contractors pay a 2% administrative rebate on subordinate contract sales and submit quarterly volume sales reports. Bids remain valid for 365 days after the closing date.
The County will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, may negotiate, and reserves the right to make multiple awards.
