The procurement is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) #C006926 seeking an experienced contractor to perform motor and pump services on an as-needed basis for a three-year contract term. Specific services include comprehensive motor and pump removal, installation, repair, and rebuilding, with contractors required to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and tools to diagnose, repair, and rebuild pumps and motors. The district requires contractors to be capable of emergency response for minor repairs and handling infrastructure maintenance related to water control systems. Bids will be processed exclusively through the PlanetBids electronic bidding platform, with the bid submission deadline set for October 7, 2025. Vendors must register on the platform to submit questions and bids, with electronic submission being the only accepted method of bid delivery.
The procurement includes established bid preferences for local vendors, veteran small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses as outlined in the district's Procurement Policy. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the contract is structured as a continuing services agreement with potential for multiple task assignments over the three-year term. The district emphasizes fair and open competition, with no apparent restrictions preventing qualified contractors from submitting bids. Electronic submission through PlanetBids provides transparency in the procurement process, allowing vendors to view documents without mandatory registration. The bid appears designed to accommodate various sized businesses, with preferences that may provide advantageous considerations for local and veteran-owned enterprises. Potential bidders should carefully review the district's procurement guidelines and ensure full compliance with all submission requirements to be considered for the motor and pump repair continuing services contract.
