About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a motor condenser with specific technical specifications: 1/3 HP, 230/208V, operating at 825 RPM, identified by solicitation number 2097400. The procurement is taking place in Dallas County, Texas, with a bid posting date of January 7, 2026, and a response deadline of January 14, 2026. Vendors must register through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and submit proposals. The procurement requires vendors to adhere to specific freight and delivery terms, with all bids mandated to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms and include freight costs in the overall price. Potential suppliers must be prepared to meet strict delivery timelines, as failure to deliver according to specified schedules could result in rejection and default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, providing comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. Vendors must comply with several key legal and procedural requirements, including certification that they are not on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and verification of non-boycott of Israel. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with venue in Dallas County. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice or order receipt. While no specific award value or budget range was disclosed, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing for the motor condenser. The procurement is subject to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which emphasize commercial warranty provisions requiring supplies to be of merchantable quality and suitable for the intended use. Interested vendors must carefully review all documentation and be prepared to meet DART's comprehensive procurement requirements.
