No set-asides or preferences are specified; HUB Subcontracting Plan participation is encouraged but not required.

The scope requires weekly delivery of 20 fluid-resistant laundry bags, 500 20-inch green microfiber dry/dust mops, 600 20-inch blue microfiber wet mops, and 450 medium yellow microfiber wet tube mops. Pickup of dirty mops and delivery of clean mops occur twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Services operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, with four-hour response time for service calls and one-hour for emergencies. Place of performance is 902 Airport Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405 in HHS Region 11.

Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of two years' relevant experience and submit three verifiable references for similar contracts within the last two years. All personnel require background checks passed at bidder's expense. Bidders must maintain Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence), Commercial Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit), Professional Liability ($1,000,000), and Umbrella Liability ($1,000,000). Bidders must provide minimum two 24-hour emergency contacts.

The contract term runs September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027 with no renewal options; HHSC reserves the right to extend up to one additional year at its discretion. Pricing must be firm and fixed for contract life, including all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies. Historical value for similar services was $30,000 for September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023, provided as guideline only. Price adjustments are at HHSC's discretion based on Consumer Price Index or Federal Minimum Wage increases with supporting documentation.

Award is contingent on Executive Commissioner approval, availability of funds, and best-value determination—not necessarily lowest price.
