About this opportunity

Montgomery County Department of Public Safety is soliciting bids for carpet removal and installation at the Eagleville Emergency Operations Center, 50 Eagleville Road, Eagleville, Pennsylvania, with proposals due October 29, 2026 and a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough required for all vendors.

The scope encompasses removing existing carpet from raised floor access panels, hallways, and office areas, and installing approximately 262 square yards of Static Smart Discovery Series carpet in "Galileo" color on EOC access floor panels; approximately 215 square yards of Static Smart Discovery Series carpet in a color to be determined on hallway and Technical Services access floor panels; and approximately 253 square yards of Static Smart Discovery Series carpet in a color to be determined on concrete floors in the Media Room, QA/QI Area, offices, and hallway areas. Roll carpet will be installed in media and training areas. All work must be coordinated with and performed during business hours as instructed by EOC management, with daily furniture movement and restoration required.

Bidders must provide at least three references demonstrating similar installation experience; experience in 24-hour operational dispatch or communication hubs is particularly beneficial. Pricing must be submitted on a cost-per-area basis with the option to modify or delete areas if pricing does not align with project budget constraints. Comprehensive pricing must encompass all required time, materials, and labor for the entire project scope.

All vendor questions and project proposals must be submitted through the Bonfire (Euna) portal. The specification notes that this opportunity is intended to result in the most advantageous and cost-effective bid for Montgomery County on behalf of the 9-1-1 Emergency Center. No specific contract value, funding source, anticipated award date, or contract term is stated.
