About this opportunity

The state of Nevada is seeking proposals for MMIS - Claims Processing and Management Services through the NASPO ValuePoint cooperative contract. This procurement will establish a contract for a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) to provide claims processing and management services. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive MMIS solution that meets all federal and state requirements, including claims adjudication, encounter data processing, provider enrollment and maintenance, and recipient eligibility and enrollment. Key objectives include improving program integrity, enhancing data analytics and reporting capabilities, and ensuring compliance with evolving Medicaid regulations. Qualified respondents must demonstrate significant experience in MMIS implementation and operations, as well as the ability to integrate with Nevada's existing Medicaid technology infrastructure. Proposals are due by January 30, 2020.

This opportunity is open to all qualified vendors. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. While an incumbent vendor may be providing current services, this is a competitive procurement, and all interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals. The total contract value has not been disclosed, but the state has budgeted appropriately to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing operation of the MMIS solution.
