The anticipated contract term is from June 2, 2025, to June 1, 2026, with an option to extend up to an additional 48 months.

The State of Minnesota emphasizes diversity and inclusion in this procurement, offering additional preference points for targeted group businesses, including those owned by minorities, women, veterans, and persons with substantial physical disabilities. Small businesses and businesses owned by economically disadvantaged groups are encouraged to participate. Respondents must provide a comprehensive two-year manufacturer's warranty covering all warranty-related costs, including inspections, adjustments, parts, labor, travel, and delivery charges. The estimated total contract value ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 for the initial one-year term, though this is not construed as a minimum or maximum amount. The excavator will be delivered to the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery located at 715 Highway 52 in Preston, MN 55965, with a proposed delivery date of May 28, 2025. Suppliers must be registered in the system and complete all required documentation, including veterans preference forms, workforce certifications, equal pay certificates, and pricing schedules.
