About this opportunity
The State of Georgia, specifically through Middle Georgia State University, is conducting an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to establish a contract for MGA Aircraft Parts, pursuant to the State Purchasing Act. This procurement opportunity seeks to identify one or more qualified suppliers capable of providing specialized aircraft parts to the state entity. The eRFQ, identified by the unique contract opportunity ID 67d7fd4b34574e6f880863d4, was posted on March 13, 2025, with responses due by April 14, 2025. The primary objective is to select suppliers through a comprehensive evaluation process that will assess submitted responses for potential contract award. After the closing date, the state will publicly announce preliminary results, including participating suppliers and evaluation outcomes, with final contract awards subject to a formal protest process. Key evaluation criteria will focus on supplier qualifications, responsiveness to specifications, and overall ability to meet the university's aircraft parts procurement needs.
While specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, the procurement appears open to all qualified suppliers who can meet the specified requirements. The eRFQ does not mention incumbent vendors or existing contractual arrangements for aircraft parts. Additionally, no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the documentation. The procurement is limited to Bibb County, Georgia, and is specifically targeted at supplying parts for Middle Georgia State University's aircraft-related needs. Interested suppliers will need to carefully review the full eRFQ documentation to understand the complete scope of requirements, technical specifications, and submission guidelines. Potential vendors should be prepared to demonstrate their capability to provide high-quality aircraft parts that meet the university's precise technical and operational standards.
