About this opportunity

The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting quotations for business cards for B. Kalleberg (Field Team Program Coordinator) and J. Orlando (Director) at the Maine Conservation Corps, with quotations due February 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. local time through the Vendor Self Service (VSS) electronic submission platform.

The scope consists of business card printing and delivery. Sample cards provided show design, contact information, and layout requirements for each employee. Bidders must submit separate unit pricing for each item and acknowledge all contract terms and conditions, including provisions governing extension and cost overrun parameters.

Award basis will be determined by lowest priced conforming bid or by a combination of factors including quality, conformity to specifications, delivery time, and total cost, with price receiving a minimum 25% weight. Delivery is on FOB Destination terms with transportation costs prepaid by the bidder. Standard payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of a correct invoice.

A certified wood products preference applies: bidders must specify the percentage of post-consumer recycled fiber content and certified virgin fiber content for each proposed product and provide proof of chain of custody or other certification status from eligible sources including the American Tree Farm System, Forest Stewardship Council, Master Logger Certification Program, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, or Sustainable Forestry Initiative. The State may accept bids offering 100% post-consumer recycled or certified virgin fiber content at up to 4% above the lowest bid price; if no bids meet that threshold, preference is given to products with the highest percentage of recycled or certified content, provided cost does not exceed 4% above the lowest submitted price.

The State reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, waive irregularities, or partially accept quotations as deemed in its best interest, and to increase or decrease quantities by up to 10% at agreed-upon pricing.
