About this opportunity
This is a request for proposals (RFP) issued by the Leander Independent School District (LISD) in Texas for Materials Handling Equipment and Related Supplies. LISD is seeking qualified vendors to provide materials handling equipment and related supplies such as bins, drawers, pallets, storage racks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial trucks and machines. This is a continuous opportunity with a response deadline of June 29, 2029 at 2:00 PM Central Time. LISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and the awarded contract(s) will be for multiple years, with the vendor's performance determining the full term. Vendors are encouraged to submit responses as soon as possible, as awards will be made throughout the open period. The RFP requests pricing information, which will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Respondents must also provide references and complete a W-9 form. LISD can adopt awards made to other school districts through cooperative purchasing agreements.
There are no set-asides or incumbents identified. Funding for purchases will come from LISD's budget, and the district reserves the right to determine appropriate purchase limits before requiring additional competition. LISD may utilize other purchasing methods if it is determined the needs can be better met through alternative procurement processes. Purchases made through the awarded contract(s) can be funded with federal funds as this solicitation follows 2 CFR 200 guidelines.
