About this opportunity
The City of Dunwoody, Georgia is requesting proposals for a managed VOIP solution to replace its existing Cisco-based Call Manager System with a cloud-based integrated communications platform, with proposals due September 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. and questions due September 17, 2021 at noon.
The scope requires a comprehensive cloud-based (or equivalently available) VOIP system designed to enhance the City's communications resources. Vendors must demonstrate prior experience with local government implementations and submit a detailed implementation plan. The City may short-list responsive and responsible bidders for formal presentations at the bidder's expense. Work is scheduled to commence no later than December 1, 2021. A designated Project Manager is required to provide weekly status reports and conduct weekly team status review calls with the City's Authorized Representative.
Proposals must be submitted in two separately sealed envelopes—one for technical content and one for cost. Bidders must submit firm pricing for the entire contract duration, itemized to show total one-time charges, total maintenance fees for three years, and a combined total price. Failure to hold firm pricing throughout the contract term will result in the proposal being declared non-responsive.
The City requires Commercial General Liability Insurance with a $2 million general aggregate limit and Automobile Liability Insurance with a $1 million combined single limit. No MWBE or LDB participation goals have been established, though such participation is encouraged.
Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder deemed most advantageous to the City, considering price and other factors. The City reserves the right to waive informalities, request additional information, reject any or all proposals, and re-advertise if necessary.
Forerunner Technologies, Inc. was selected as the award recipient.
