About this opportunity
The State of Nevada, Office of the Military, is requesting bids on exit gate replacement at the Las Vegas Range Complex (LVRC), 4500 W Silverado Ranch Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada, with proposals due September 30, 2026.
The scope requires removal of the existing gate, post, electrical box, hydraulic supply lines, concrete, asphalt, and chain link fence, then installation of a new 24-foot chain link double swing gate with UL325 compliance. The new gate must include a 6-inch gate post with 6-gauge 2-inch mesh chain link infill, 2-inch schedule-40 round galvanized frame with heavy-duty greaseable hinges, three rows of barbed wire on top, new concrete pad for operators, two HDSW24UL gate operators with battery backup, in-ground safety loops and exit loops, photo eye, and LIFTMASTER 1300-pound magnetic lock. Contractors must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals. Work is limited to Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the secure military base unless alternative arrangements are approved. Site visits may be scheduled upon request.
Award is based on lowest overall cost, conformance to solicitation requirements, current valid Nevada business and contractors licenses, and mandatory insurance requirements. Contractors must carry Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $2,000,000 general aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence; Commercial Automobile Liability with $1,000,000 combined single limit; and Workers' Compensation Insurance with statutory limits.
The contract term is four years, expiring on or about June 30, 2029, with work commencing upon Board of Examiners approval. Upon completion, contractors must submit owner manuals and relevant documentation and warrant all work free of defects for one year from the substantially completed date. Award is contingent on State and/or Federal funding availability. Theresa Sianez, Construction Project Coordinator II, is the primary contact at 775-781-7880. Proposals must be submitted via NevadaEPRO and include a Nevada Business License, Nevada Contractors License if applicable, Addenda Acknowledgement, and proof of required insurance.
