About this opportunity
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is requesting quotations for lot clearing services under a term contract (RFQ #26-0184/DJ), with quotes due July 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time. Questions close July 22, 2026. A 10% small business enterprise preference applies under the Small Business Development Program, and a 5% local preference is available to vendors with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades.
The scope encompasses comprehensive clearing of overgrown residential lots throughout Palm Beach County, including vegetation and tree removal, debris clearance, hazardous-materials handling, stump grinding, and site restoration to a clean and safe condition. Contractors must demonstrate experience with similar residential lot clearing projects and maintain appropriate licensing and insurance. All cleared materials must be properly disposed in compliance with environmental regulations. The contract is structured as a term agreement allowing the county to request services on an as-needed basis.
Pricing is submitted on a unit-price basis through Schedules 1–4, with rates covering various clearing scenarios based on property conditions and debris volumes. Submitted prices must remain firm for 90 days from the date of quote submission and throughout the initial and any subsequent contract term. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor. Vendors must complete and submit Schedules 1 and 2 if any subcontractors are utilized. All vendors and subcontractors must register or activate accounts in the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system prior to contract award. Standard county payment terms apply; invoices are due within the month of service delivery, and the Florida Prompt Payment Act governs interest penalties.
