The Invitation for Bid (IFB) specifies that the tanks must be able to safely contain liquids weighing up to 15.8 pounds per gallon or 1.9 specific gravity, in capacities ranging from 2,500 gallons to 20,000 gallons. The tanks must meet ASTM D1998 design standards and include specific accessories and fittings. Bidders must provide descriptive literature, proof of manufacturing experience, and documentation of available parts and service within the State of Illinois. The initial contract term will be from execution to June 30, 2025, with a maximum total term of ten (10) years, including renewals and extensions. Bids must be submitted electronically through BidBuy by the stated due date of March 12, 2024.
The procurement is open to all qualified vendors, with no specific small business, minority-owned, women-owned, or veteran-owned business set-aside goals indicated. The contract may be partially or totally funded with federal funds, with the percentage of federal funding to be disclosed to the awarded vendor.
