About this opportunity

The Village of Los Lunas, New Mexico is seeking a sole source procurement for the upgrade of their existing Aquionics UV disinfection equipment. The project involves replacing the current UV equipment to enhance operational reliability and performance, while maintaining compliance with state regulations. The procurement is based on a quote from Aquionics UV, whose main place of business is in Charlotte, NC, and includes UV components, services, and local assistance from a factory authorized municipal service technician. The project will evaluate the system for a 4 MGD peak with 70 TSS, but no other details about pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or sources are provided.

The sole source notification indicates that ALS/Pacem-Defense is the sole manufacturer of the various less lethal munition products, including flash bangs, tactical blast grenades, rubber fin stabilized rounds, and OC chemical grenades, and does not authorize anyone else to sell their products without express written permission. This sole source procurement for Aquionics UV equipment replacement does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The contract opportunity does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it provide any information on possible award values or budget ranges.
