About this opportunity
The City of Warm Springs, Georgia is seeking proposals from qualified firms and consultants to assist with developing an inventory and compliance with the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) for its water system by October 2024. The successful consultant will help the City develop a Service Line Inventory (SLI) with field investigations, a Service Line Replacement Plan (SLRP), and implement tap sampling, filter pitcher, and public education programs to comply with the new regulations. The RFP requires bidders to submit detailed information on their company, technical approach, experience, implementation plan, project timeline, and pricing proposal. The City will evaluate proposals based on factors such as familiarity with the community, price competitiveness, completeness of the RFP response, ability to provide the required services, and the qualifications of the staff and subcontractors. The Service Line Inventory must be completed and submitted to the Georgia Environmental Protection Division by October 16, 2024, and the Service Line Replacement Plan and other compliance components will be due by the date prescribed by the U.S. EPA in the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements, expected in late 2023.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), including Minority and Women Owned Businesses (MBE and WBE), are encouraged to submit proposals. The RFP does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it provide any information on award values or budget ranges.
