About this opportunity
The state of Illinois, through the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, is seeking to procure 17 laptop computers and 17 units of 8GB memory through a Request for Quote (RFQ) process. The laptop specifications, detailed in Attachment A, call for a Core i7 processor, 8GB of DDR4 memory, a 256GB SSD, a 15.6-inch Full HD display, and a 720p webcam, among other features. Vendors must submit their quotes, which must be valid for 90 days and include all expenses, by the deadline of August 8, 2022. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers or individual offers that fail to meet the requirements, and no price increases will be allowed during the 90-day quote validity period.
The RFQ is accompanied by several state-mandated documents, including certifications related to compliance with civil rights laws, avoidance of conflicts of interest, prohibitions on political contributions, employment of Illinois residents, and use of US-manufactured steel products. Vendors must agree to these certifications as a material condition of the contract and maintain compliance throughout the contract term. Additionally, the state's standard terms and conditions, which cover a wide range of contractual requirements and expectations, will apply to any resulting contract. No information is provided regarding set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or budget ranges for this procurement.
