About this opportunity
The State of Illinois, through the Department of Central Management Services, is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish a contract for the provision of approved brand name food supplements to the JPMC agency. The contract will have an initial term of two years with no renewal options, and will enable Central Management Services, governmental units, and qualified not-for-profit agencies across Illinois to purchase the required supplies on an as-needed basis. The Scope of Work details the specific products, estimated quantities, delivery and packaging requirements, as well as the pricing terms, which must be submitted using a provided price sheet template. Responses to this opportunity are due by 2:00 PM on June 12, 2019, and a mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 30, 2022. The contract will be awarded to a single vendor based on responsiveness, responsibility, and price.
There are no small business set-aside or Minority, Women, and Persons with Disabilities participation goals stated for this contract. The current incumbent vendor is Acme Nutrition, Inc., and the estimated total annual spend is $2.5 million, which is funded through the JPMC agency budget. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements outlined in the Scope of Work in order to be considered for award, and any disputes between vendors and agencies are to be resolved between the affected parties.
