About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pursuing a single-source procurement opportunity with Island TV, LLC for multimedia marketing services supporting the Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign. This procurement is specifically targeting sponsorship services to promote the "Fresh From Florida" brand through the Island TV network and programming. The contract will run from the date of execution through June 30, 2026, with a focus on marketing Florida agricultural commodities, value-added products, and agricultural-related businesses. The solicitation was posted on May 28, 2025, with a critical deadline of June 18, 2025, for prospective vendors to provide alternative information. Island TV, LLC is being considered as the sole source provider due to their exclusive licensing rights for marketing and programming, with a specific emphasis on UNSPSC code 80141609 related to event or celebrity sponsorship. The department will carefully review any submitted information to determine if alternative vendors can provide comparable services before finalizing the procurement.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. Island TV, LLC is the sole identified vendor for this opportunity, with an estimated total contract value of up to $100,000.00 and an approximate contract amount of $75,000.00. The contract is focused exclusively within Leon County, Florida, and is statutorily mandated under Section 120.57(3) of Florida Statutes. No incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure integration requirements are explicitly mentioned beyond the Island TV network's current multimedia marketing capabilities. The procurement process allows for potential vendors to challenge the single-source justification by submitting relevant information demonstrating their ability to provide similar commodities or contractual services by the June 18, 2025 deadline. If no viable alternatives are identified, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will proceed with posting its intended decision to contract with Island TV, LLC on the Vendor Information Portal.
