The procurement emphasizes diversity and compliance, requiring contractors to use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to confirm employment eligibility of all workers. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the comprehensive nature of the roof repair project suggests a substantial investment in preserving the historic Patten House. Contractors must possess current state contractor licensing and corporate charter registration if not pre-qualified. The project appears open to a wide range of contractors, with no specific set-aside designations mentioned. Potential bidders should note the requirement to design and construct the project in accordance with green building standards, indicating a preference for environmentally conscious approaches.
