About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Health's Office of Information Technology is pursuing a single-source procurement for InterSystems Corporation's IRIS for Health Enterprise software licenses, updates, and technical assistance. This procurement will support critical healthcare management systems, specifically the Health Management System (HMS) and Florida Shots (FLShots), which serve County Health Departments across Leon County and potentially statewide. The software enables comprehensive patient management functions, including registration, scheduling, billing, financial eligibility, care coordination, lab results tracking, and immunization record management. The procurement follows Chapter 60A-l.045 of the Florida Administrative Code and is structured as a three-year contract with a posted date of March 31, 2025, and a response deadline of April 21, 2025. The solicitation invites prospective vendors to provide information about their capability to supply similar commodities or services, though the document strongly suggests a preference for the incumbent vendor, InterSystems Corporation.
The procurement appears to be unrestricted in terms of vendor set-asides or specific enterprise designations, with the primary qualification being the ability to provide comparable healthcare management software solutions. InterSystems Corporation is identified as the sole manufacturer and seller of the IRIS for Health Enterprise software, which provides a significant justification for the single-source procurement. The total estimated dollar amount for this acquisition is $3,360,165.00, covering software licenses, updates, and technical support for the three-year contract period. The existing technology infrastructure suggests a need for seamless integration with current health department systems, particularly those already utilizing the IRIS for Health Enterprise platform. No specific evaluation criteria are explicitly detailed in the available documentation, but the procurement appears focused on maintaining continuity of services and supporting critical healthcare management functions across Florida's county health departments.
