The scope encompasses bridge maintenance and structural repairs across four to six phases per bridge under a single prime contract. The Contractor must provide a full-time project superintendent and comply with submittal, quality control, and testing and inspection procedures. Payment is based on unit prices in the bid schedule, measured by square yard for sidewalk removal, square foot for concrete surface treatment and structural repair, and other appropriate units for remaining items. Force account work for extra items carries established markup percentages: 25% overhead for labor, 55% of labor cost for insurance and taxes, 25% overhead for materials, 15% overhead for equipment, and 5% administrative cost for subcontracting. No retainage is withheld on the prime contractor. CONSOR Engineers, LLC serves as the Owner's Representative with Civil Engineer Ricardo A. Prieto, P.E. providing design coordination.
