About this opportunity

The Brazos River Authority is hosting an Industry Day on March 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the East Williamson County Water Treatment Plant in Taylor, Texas to inform construction firms of upcoming water treatment and water transmission pipeline projects. This is a pre-solicitation outreach event, not a formal solicitation.

Attendance is open to any construction firm authorized to do business in Texas that specializes in water treatment plant and water transmission pipeline construction. In-person attendance is limited to three representatives per company; a virtual attendance option is available. RSVP is required by March 13, 2026, to Steve Hamlin, Project Delivery Division, at Stephen.Hamlin@Brazos.org, with participant names, company affiliation, attendance format preference, and email addresses.

The agenda includes a presentation on the BRA's mission, an overview of upcoming construction projects, a tour of the water treatment plant and Granger Lake intake facility, and a question-and-answer session. Lunch will be provided. The announcement does not identify specific contract values, funding amounts, set-asides, or award terms; these will be disclosed in subsequent formal solicitations. Additional information about the BRA and upcoming projects is available at https://brazos.org and https://brazos.org/project-updates/upcoming-projects.
