The base contract includes four contract line items: Standard Maintenance and Services (12 months), After-Hours Emergency Maintenance Service (12 months), Miscellaneous Parts and Equipment (not to exceed $10,000), and Installation of New Zones (not to exceed $100,000). Two additional option years are included with identical CLINs. The base period runs September 3, 2026 through September 2, 2027, with options extending through September 2, 2029.
Pricing follows Firm Fixed Price for maintenance and services; miscellaneous parts are reimbursed at actual cost. Technical acceptability and price are primary evaluation factors, with technical factors significantly more important than cost. Offerors must submit proposals in three volumes: General (representations and certifications), Technical Proposal (not exceeding 25 pages), and Price Proposal (SF 1449). Inspection and acceptance occur at Fort Jackson's Training Support Center, Building 1565, Hall Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29207. Payment is made through Wide Area Workflow electronic invoicing. Award goes to the single offeror providing best value considering technical capability and price.
