About this opportunity

Parker Water and Sanitation District is requesting bids on the Twenty Mile Road Sewer Rehabilitation project, involving the installation of approximately 1,760 linear feet of 27-inch fully structural cured-in-place pipe with ancillary traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, revegetation, and temporary bypass pumping, with bids due October 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM and questions due September 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

The project is located in Parker, Colorado (Douglas County). Contractors must conduct a thorough visual examination of the site during normal working hours; site-visit coordination is available through Alex Sofranko at asofranko@pwsd.org or 720-842-4239. A pre-bid site visit and bidders' conference will be held with maps available at the conference.

The contract is based on unit prices for each item of work. Substantial completion is required within 45 calendar days and final completion within 60 calendar days after Contract commencement. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day apply for failure to achieve substantial completion and for failure to complete remaining work after substantial completion. Progress payments are made at 95 percent of completed work value with 5 percent retainage; upon substantial completion, payment increases to 100 percent less estimated punch-list costs.

Bid security equal to 5 percent of the maximum bid price must be submitted as a bid bond. The successful bidder must execute performance and payment bonds prior to contract award. Bidder qualifications must be demonstrated through written evidence of financial data, previous experience, present commitments, state contractor license number, and subcontractor and supplier information.

The owner is exempt from Colorado state sales and use taxes; bidders must not include these taxes. Contract documents include EJCDC C-700 Standard General Conditions (2018), Supplementary Conditions, detailed specifications, and 10 sheets of drawings. Bidding documents are available through BidNet Direct.
