About this opportunity
The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is seeking bids for Transcription Services to provide transcription of administrative hearings for Superior Court proceedings in Sacramento County and San Francisco City. The successful contractor will be responsible for preparing certified transcripts that meet specific formatting requirements and ensuring the accuracy of all transcripts prior to delivery. The anticipated contract term is up to 36 months, with CDSS reserving the right to amend the agreement to add funds to complete the identified tasks at the originally agreed upon service rates. Bidders must demonstrate at least 5 years of continuous experience providing transcription services for a California state agency or public agency, be a legal business entity authorized to do business in California, have a corporation in good standing with the California Secretary of State, and have a principal place of business located in California with all personnel residing and conducting services within the United States. The final selection will be made based on the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
This solicitation requires a minimum of 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation, and bidders may claim a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) preference if qualified. The previous vendor providing these services was eScribers, LLC. CDSS has provided the current rates for the various turnaround time options in the Questions and Answers document. The anticipated budget for the resulting contract is $120,000. Bidders must submit their bids by October 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
