About this opportunity
The state of California, specifically the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), is seeking bids for a contract to provide motion graphic services. The contract will be used to produce visuals that educate the public on concepts related to groundwater, groundwater recharge, over-drafting, groundwater contamination, and hydropower generation, which are not possible to demonstrate with still or video images. The contract requires a minimum of 3 years' experience providing motion graphic services, as well as specific software and equipment capabilities. The bid is due on August 12, 2024, with a bid opening on August 13, 2024, and an anticipated start date in October 2024. The initial contract term is 3 years, with the possibility of extensions.
The contract includes a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirement, as well as a Small Business Preference and a Non-Small Business Preference. The incumbent contractor has billed close to 850 hours to date, but the budget for this contract cannot be disclosed. The state reserves the right to terminate the contract if the contractor is found to be a target of Russian economic sanctions.
