About this file

This document is an Addendum #01 to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) for Motion Graphic Services, Solicitation # 10202001. The IFB seeks services to produce visuals that educate the public on concepts related to groundwater, groundwater recharge, over-drafting, groundwater contamination, and hydropower generation. The contract will be an "as-needed" basis, and the IFB answers several technical questions from prospective bidders regarding requirements, such as prior experience, bidding process timeline, 3D rendering capabilities, and accessibility. The IFB notes that the bidder must be a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), or can subcontract with a DVBE for any portion of the required services.

The budget for this contract cannot be disclosed at this time. The incumbent contractor has billed close to 850 hours to date. There are no mandatory Small Business (SB) and DVBE participation amounts specified, but the IFB provides guidance on SB and DVBE participation requirements. The Public Affairs Office staff will manage the projects and provide scripts and/or storyboards, as well as guidance on accessibility requirements.
