IDOC SHA Bleach WW

The state of Illinois is seeking responses for a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) under $50,000 for the purchase of bleach by the Shawnee Correctional Center. The BOA covers the ordering of 100 cases of 6-gallon bleach, with the contract term beginning upon final signature and ending on June 30, 2022. Payment terms are 30 days, and the contract does not indicate the use of any subcontractors. The BOA outlines standard contract provisions such as late payment charges, the Minority Contractor Initiative fee, contract assignment, subcontracting, audit/record retention, confidentiality, intellectual property, and insurance.

The procurement is open to all interested vendors, and the state has issued a Notice of Electronic Submission Only, requiring all responses to be submitted through the BidBuy platform. The notice supersedes any conflicting instructions in the solicitation and specifies the use of two separate BidBuy Bid numbers for Requests for Proposals - a Primary Bid number for the technical proposal and other required documentation, and a Secondary Bid number for the pricing proposal. The solicitation does not provide any information about set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or the award value or budget range.
