About this opportunity
A Pennsylvania city is soliciting proposals for Idesco Prima Encoders with a due date of May 21, 2026. The procurement requires inside delivery to a loading dock with vendor-supplied installation and configuration at no separate charge to the City.
The scope includes encoder equipment delivered pre-configured, with vendor responsibility for packaging removal, installation labor, and initial configuration. The City requests instruction and training from the vendor as part of service delivery. Refurbished equipment is acceptable if specified by the vendor.
Warranty coverage is tiered by equipment class: minimum five-year for servers and IT appliances, four years for PCs and laptops, three years for tablets, and original equipment manufacturer warranty periods for peripherals such as printers, copiers, and multifunction devices. All warranty periods become effective after a 30- to 120-day acceptance window. Maintenance service includes next-day on-site response within 24 hours with all parts and labor included. The vendor may select either a three-year or five-year maintenance plan, with all maintenance costs included in the initial quotation and payment due after equipment delivery and City acceptance.
Vendors must submit product literature at the City's request to support evaluation. All installation, configuration, and maintenance costs must be incorporated into the price proposal; separate or equipment-only quotes are not acceptable.
Opportunity text
