About this opportunity
The City of Balch Springs, Texas is soliciting responses under RFP 2026-00-04 for the Hickory Tree Road DWU-Water Line Relocation, with submissions due November 2, 2026 at 1:45 p.m. and public opening at 2:00 p.m. the same day. The work is relocation of approximately 83 linear feet of 24-inch bar-wrapped concrete cylinder pipe from Dallas Water Utilities to Dallas Water Utilities Standards and Specifications, including restrained joints, fittings, bends, air release and blow-off valves with manholes, tie-ins, shutdowns, removals and replacements, trench safety, traffic control, and other appurtenances. Proposals are binding for 150 calendar days following opening. The project is contingent upon sufficient City funding and authorization.
