About this opportunity
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is announcing a sole-source procurement for routine and as-needed repair and maintenance services on its specialized Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) maritime vessel, with challenges to the intended award due September 8, 2026. Land's End Marina of Tampa LLC is the intended awardee under Section 3-205(2)(e) of the County's Procurement Policy, justified as the sole authorized provider capable of performing on-site maintenance at the marina due to insurance restrictions prohibiting outside contractors from servicing the equipment.
The scope covers mechanical, structural, and systems-related repairs and maintenance necessary to maintain the vessel's operational readiness over a one-year contract term. All work must be performed on-site at the marina.
The estimated contract value is $24,800 for one year. The County reserves the right to extend the contract term, adjust scope in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the award amount accordingly.
This is a notice of intent to award, not a competitive solicitation. Contractors able and interested in providing the identified services may submit clear and convincing information challenging the intended award by the Close Date through the EUNA Procurement submission section. The County will review properly submitted challenges solely to determine whether bona fide competition exists and whether to convert the procurement to competitive format. Absent valid challenges received by the deadline, an award will likely be made after the Close Date.
