The contractor must maintain a 24-hour customer service hotline, schedule all services through APS's Nutrition Services Department, fulfill emergency cleaning requests within two hours of notification, and maintain comprehensive manifests and records for three years while complying with City of Atlanta Code of Ordinances and all applicable state and federal regulations. Qualified contractors must obtain all necessary permits and licenses for waste hauling and disposal, maintain required insurance coverage including Worker's Compensation (statutory limits), Comprehensive General Liability ($2,000,000 aggregate), Automobile Liability ($1,000,000), Umbrella Liability ($1,000,000/$2,000,000), and Sexual Abuse and Molestation Liability ($1,000,000/$2,000,000), complete a background check for a $45 fee, and comply with Georgia House Bill 87 E-Verify requirements. The initial contract term is one year with options to renew up to four additional one-year periods, and pricing must remain firm for one year from the award date.

No disadvantaged enterprise preferences or small business set-asides are mentioned in the available documentation. There is no specific award value or budget range disclosed in the solicitation materials. APS intends to make one award, though it reserves the right to make multiple awards or no award.
