About this opportunity
Greenville County is seeking sealed proposals for a grease and septic tank pumping services contract through RFP #24003, targeting approximately twelve county-owned facilities across Northern, Central, and Southern regions of the county. The procurement is for a one-year contract with four potential one-year renewal options, allowing for future service and location expansions. Contractors must provide comprehensive pumping services for facilities ranging from parks to community centers, with tank capacities varying between 500 and 7,500 gallons. The evaluation criteria will equally weight five key areas: responsiveness, experience, references, cost, and response time, with each category representing 20% of the total scoring. Proposals are due by July 6, 2023, at 3:00 pm through the county's online procurement portal, with a tentative award date of July 13, 2023, and a planned Notice to Proceed on July 27, 2023. Vendors must submit a company overview, key personnel resumes, insurance certificates, and references, demonstrating their capability to effectively manage pumping services across diverse county locations.
The county encourages participation from minority and women-owned businesses, though no specific set-aside designations are explicitly stated in the documentation. Vendors must provide proof of insurance, including $1,000,000 in general liability, $1,000,000 in automobile liability, and statutory worker's compensation. While no specific contract value is listed, the detailed pricing proposal includes unit costs for response times and pumping services across different gallon quantities and regional zones. The Sample Services Agreement indicates the contract can be terminated with 30 days' notice and includes provisions for confidentiality and compliance with local immigration laws. Potential contractors must be prepared to handle diverse facility types, including parks, recreational centers, and community facilities across Greenville County, with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to pumping service requirements.
